By far, the main way we receive guidance from other dimensions is through subtle synchronicities. Earth is a school, and in order for our soul to have the greatest chance to evolve in this life, we need to figure things out for ourselves. Our Spirit Guides really love us and want us succeed on our life missions; however, they cannot interfere with our free will by spoon feeding us all of the answers. Our Guides can drop little clues, and they do all the time. Spending time in the present moment greatly increases your chances of noticing these little clues. Guidance often comes in the form of 2 or more related events, things, or people that seem very unlikely to be related, so they catch your attention. 10 ways the Universe may be sending you guidance
1 Radio, Movies & Other Ambient Sounds: You may receive guidance from sounds in 4 ways. A. You may have a question or aproblem in your mind and simultaneously hear the answer from a radio ad, a TV show, or a friend who just happens to say something at the exact time you are thinking about the issue in your mind. Once I realized that fear had abruptly ended a mystical experience and then I heard the radio say, “There is only one thing holding you back in life and that is fear.”
B. Sometimes you may be thinking something in your mind and you hear the exact words out loud at the exact time. Three years ago, I was looking at my eyes in the mirror. I noticed that the color had changed. My eyes were once so dark brown that they looked black. My eyes were now a much lighter brown, and I thought to myself, “Oh wow, this is amazing!” just as I heard a character in movie playing in the living room say, “Oh wow, this is amazing!” I hadn’t even been paying attention to the sounds from my living room before this happened.
C. You may come up with an answer or an idea in your mind right as you hear some strange or loud noise at the exact time. You likely had not noticed the sound before and it came at the exact timing of your idea. This has happened to me countless times. Sometimes I might want to shrug it off, but if it comes with a strong body sensation such a giant yawn or shivers, I definitely pay attention.
D. When you hear a ringing or buzzing in your ear (usually the same ear and for me it is the right ear), you may be receiving a direct “download” into your subconscious.
2 Perfectly Timed Events: Three years ago I was working on healing my sacral (second chakra), and I read that trees and the color orange can be balancing to the sacral chakra. At that time, I was reading a book about plant spirits as allies on our healing path. I read about the concept of a Punka, the first plant spirit to make contact with you. One day I was walking my dogs, and I noticed a beautiful Silk Oak tree with gorgeous orange blossoms while simultaneously wondering when I would meet my Punka. At the exact moment I was noticing the orange tree and wondering about my Punka, I noticed something in my mouth. I thought to myself, “If this is an orange blossom I am going to freak!” Sure enough it was an orange blossom!! I will write a post on telepathic communications with plants, and I will tell you the rest of this very supernatural story!!
3 Companion Animals: Our companion animals are very in tune with our emotions and thoughts, and they will sometimes make it very clear that they agree with what we are thinking. (Watch out for a future post on developing telepathic communication abilities with animals.) A few years ago, my then partner woke me up and told me he could feel many angels in my bedroom. I could not see or feel anything unusual, so I went back to bed. The next day I took my dogs for a hike, and I sat and pondered what my partner had shared. I looked at my chocolate lab, Moca and asked her if she noticed something unusual the night before. She got up from the ground in a very excited state. She made a point to jump on the small rock I was sitting on (which was very unusual since there was very little room for her). She also gently took a button on my mitten into her teeth (this is also very unusual behavior for her) and winked her eyes several times. I knew this whole unusual display was how she was telling me, “Yes Rachel. Something was different last night!”
4. Something Keeps Showing Up Over and Over: A few months ago, I was meditating and my guides told me about an incarnation of mine that was associated with owls. I opened my eyes and right away noticed the owl sticker that I put on my computer speaker a year prior. I had many stickers to choose from and I chose the owl sticker. The next day, I noticed a nice shirt that my partner left in my closet, and it has an owl embroidered into the label. The day after that I received a Facebook message from my friend Gary that contained a video of an owl flying. Gary and I have never talked about birds or owls. I believe spirit whispered into his ears, “Hey, Rachel would like this. Send it to her.” The owls continue to show up. Another example is when I let my brother borrow my car and he left a beautiful photo of an owl inside as a token of his gratitude. I have never mentioned to him about the ongoing owl synchronicities.
5. A Concept or Idea Shows Up in Multiples: About a year ago, I was trying to decide if I should enroll in a one year coaching/counseling program called Interchange. My intuition said, “Yes!” yet I was still debating due to the time and money I would need to invest. I was talking about Interchange in a massage class, and a class member overhead and said,”Interchange! I have been wanting to do that program! I will go with you to the intro night.” I went to a festival a few days later and met more grads. (I had never even heard of the program until a few weeks prior, and now I was meeting a lot of people who loved Interchange.) A month later, a friend got me a ticket for Burning Man, and he just so happened to be staying at a camp full of Interchange grads! I needed to join a camp ASAP since Burning Man was just a week away. There was only one camp I thought I could get into on such short notice and it just so happened to be the sister camp of the Interchange camp! At this point, I have just about completed the program and I am so very glad I enrolled!
Another quick example was when I received a message from my guides about the significance of the number 3 to me in another incarnation. While I was pondering this, I saw a cab drive by and the phone number plastered on the side was 333-3333. Shortly after, the number 3 got stuck on my keyboard and stared typing 33333333333333333333 on its own. (This is my only experience of my computer typing on its own). A week later someone referred to me as a trio with my 2 dogs.
6. Repeating Numbers on Clocks, Receipts, Addresses, License Plates, Etc.: You may have heard of the 11:11 phenomena. Many say that your guides will send you messages through repeating or significant numbers like 1111, 2222, 1234, or in my case, 1208 (my birthday). I see 11:11 and 1:11 just about every day on my phone. I view 11:11 as a thumbs up from my guides, a way for them to cheer me on. Some people think different numbers mean different things such as “remember to keep your thoughts positive” or “get ready for a major life event.” Personally I am not sure that different number patterns are anything more than “Hey, we are watching over you. Good job. Keep it up.”
7. Bumper Stickers, Billboards & Street Signs: Have you ever been driving and thinking about an issue and then the answer seems 
to literally be right in front of your eyes while you are stopped at a red light? Once I was pondering whether or not to go ahead with a plan, and I looked up to see the address 1111 Civic Dr. Repeating numbers always stand out to me as confirmations, especially 1111. Another time I was sitting at red light and pondering some messages from my guides about what ET race I belong to. It has not been easy to integrate all I have been shown about myself. While I was thinking about the messages I had received in the past, I then heard clearly in my mind, “You know it’s true.” while I was simultaneously looking at a billboard with a picture that looks a lot like the ET race I am a part of.
8. You Receive a Profound Message Two Days in a Row: A few years ago, I had a phenomenal thought about myself. This idea was so huge that I laughed it off. The very next day I was at The New Living Expo in San Francisco chatting with a psychic. Out of nowhere he tells me that I am the exact same thing that I thought of the night before. That was the first time I had this thought about myself, and the first time a psychic told me that same thing about myself. Another example was when I was with a spiritual teacher I worked with at the time and I told her about how I had helped a person who was going through kundalini awakening symptoms but he did not even know the concept. She said to me, “And so it has begun.” At that moment, it felt like I was starting to leave my body. I got scared, and the feeling stopped. She told me that expansive feeling was the feeling of truth. The very next day, I was talking with another pyschic friend who channeled some amazing things about myself, and I had this same expansive feeling again. My body gave me the same feeling of truth, so I could have an easier time accepting what was being told to me.
9. Birds Fly by, Chirp, or Land Right Next to You Just as You Have an Important Thought or Hear an Important
Message: Birds are often considered symbols of the higher realms. I have talked with many people who also notice birds a lot when they are contemplating life. Birds flying by, landing near me, or chirping right on cue were the first ways I realized that the Universe was actually talking to me shortly after returning from my first Ayahuasca medicine journey in Peru (December 2012). I later discovered that birds are associated with the ET group I come from, and I was amazed to look around at my then apartment and notice that I had A LOT of bird things!
10. Internet Searches: When I first started to awaken after my first trip to Peru, I did not have any friends I felt like I could share my mystical experiences with, so I searched the computer for a lot for answers. I began to notice that my searches seemed divinely guided. I would read about a new concept and then the next search about another concept would only make sense because I had first read about the other concept.
