Inner Child and Emotional Healing:
Achieve Lasting Peace and Self-Acceptance

Are you experiencing any of the following challenges?

  • Fear of self-expression

  • Difficulty setting boundaries

  • Wondering, "What is self-love? How do I practice that?"

  • Experiencing repeated disappointing relationships

  • Feeling not good enough

  • Struggling with low confidence and self-esteem

These challenges are common aspects of the human experience. Often, we get hurt early in life, and these wounds remain due to a lack of support and understanding when we are young. Explore how inner child and emotional healing can help you find lasting peace and self-acceptance.

The Process of Emotional Healing with The Emotion Code & The Body Code

Imagine trapped emotions as balls of energy, each vibrating at its own unique frequency. When these emotions go unprocessed, their frequencies can start to disrupt the body’s natural energy field, creating imbalances over time. These imbalances often manifest as physical pain, emotional distress, or even illness, signaling areas where the body’s energy flow has become blocked and needs emotional healing.

Trapped emotions act like filters on your experience. For instance, if you hold onto a lot of unresolved anger, this energy subtly colors the way you perceive and react to situations. It’s as if the unresolved anger creates an emotional lens, making you more likely to encounter or feel triggered by anger in everyday life. This cycle can make that emotion a more frequent and dominant part of your experience, even if you aren’t consciously aware of it.

Through emotional healing techniques like the Emotion Code and Body Code, we can begin to clear these trapped emotions from the body, restoring harmony to the energy field. When emotional energy is no longer blocked, the body can return to its natural state of balance, allowing healing to occur on multiple levels: physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Curious about how emotions impact physical health?
When I first saw the creator of the Emotion Code interviewed in the documentary E*Motion, my body lit up with goosebumps. I instantly knew this was something I needed to pursue—not just for myself but to bring healing to my clients. This powerful film offers profound insights into emotional healing and how our emotions influence physical health. You can watch the full movie for free on Tubi or YouTube.

Emotion Code & Body Code Sessions

Our Emotional Healing Sessions offer a gentle, efficient approach to well-being by accessing the subconscious mind's innate wisdom. Without the need to relive past traumas, we identify and release various energetic imbalances that may be limiting your emotional freedom and physical healing.

These remote sessions are accessible worldwide, providing a convenient and effective path to deep, transformative healing. Many clients report feeling lighter and less burdened by emotional weight after our work together.

This is what a couple of clients have to say:

  • R.N.: “I noticed a huge difference. I felt like a weight was removed from me. I've been improving since.”

  • Jeannette: “The energies released were right on target. I feel like a frenzy of energy is no longer in me. My physical therapist remarked my muscles were relaxed and making great progress. She was surprised at the improvement, and the only change was your session."

   What You Can Expect:

  • Personalized Guidance: Each session is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring a focused and effective healing experience. We always set aside time to discuss your specific goals and concerns before beginning the energy work.

  • Gentle Energy Release and Integration: During the session, you may feel sensations such as tingles or pulsations rather than strong emotions. While it’s possible to experience lingering emotions in the days following, most people find the integration to be smooth and gentle.

  • Holistic & Compassionate Support: With over 20 years of holistic training and study, Rachel Hope provides individualized guidance and suggestions to support your healing journey.

Inner Child Healing Sessions

Our Inner Child Healing Sessions allow you to address the subconscious core of your adult challenges. Around 95% of our thoughts, actions, and feelings stem from subconscious beliefs formed in childhood, and many of these foundational beliefs are negative or self-limiting.

To create lasting, empowered shifts in life, we need to identify and upgrade these limiting beliefs. Accessing the inner child is one of the most potent pathways for transformation, as this part of ourselves holds the deep programming that often holds us back.

We tend to attract experiences that vibrationally mirror our early traumas and survival-based patterns, which can block us from thriving as adults. By nurturing and guiding the wounded parts of our inner child, we begin to reprogram the subconscious mind to align with empowered, uplifting beliefs. When we change what’s within, our external world responds in kind.

Inner Child Healing & Triggers

Inner child healing is essential for transforming how we experience triggers. Most adult triggers stem from unresolved childhood pain—whether from neglect, abuse, or other unhealed wounds. While recurring patterns and triggers can bring awareness, true healing occurs when we support and nurture the inner child holding onto that original pain. I will guide you through this process; it’s often less daunting than it may seem, especially with the right support.

Sessions are 90-120 minutes and conducted over Zoom. You’ll leave equipped with tools to nurture and support yourself, build self-love and self-acceptance, and continue upgrading your subconscious programming.

This is what a couple of clients have to say:

  • M. M.: “You have a gift. Thank you so much for offering this transformative work. It goes so deep, and people are noticing the shifts in me. This is life changing. You pack a punch in such a beautiful way.”

  • Yas: “I’ve changed—no more people-pleasing, more self-aware, less fear, and more confidence in voicing what my inner child wants. I love this new version of me and want to continue growing into my authentic self.”

What You Can Expect:

  • Meeting Your Inner Child: You will connect with the younger, vulnerable parts of yourself who hold the key to unlocking more of your potential.

  • Personalized Guidance: We’ll create a plan to support and nurture the inner child parts you meet during our session, tailored to your unique needs and goals.

  • Empowering Tools: Gain practical tools and techniques for ongoing self-care and inner child support, helping you continue your healing journey.

  • Continued Support for Transformation: You’ll leave each session feeling equipped with skills in self-love, self-acceptance, and the compassion necessary for deep, lasting change.

Meet Rachel Hope

After a profound awakening in 2012, I transitioned from a real estate career to focus on healing—for myself and others. Guided by synchronicities, I trusted that my personal healing journey would reveal a unique method to assist others, which it has.

True, lasting healing involves clearing conditioning, programs, and stored emotional pain that hinder your authentic self. It's about shedding what isn't you and embracing your most empowered version.

Experiencing severe childhood abuse left me with debilitating beliefs, making it difficult to assert myself. Despite participating in several workshops like the Landmark Forum, I hadn't gotten to the root of my deep subconscious self-worth issues.  Consciously I felt good about myself until a trigger happened.

A painful breakup led me to inner child healing. I was astonished by the beliefs my inner child held. Noticing significant improvements in setting boundaries and prioritizing myself, I felt compelled to share this with others.

Inner child healing is excellent for enhancing self-esteem, self-love, confidence, relationships, and pursuing goals. However, deep-seated emotional pain may require additional support.

Upon discovering Dr. Nelson's Emotion Code and Body Code in the documentary E-Motion, I felt an immediate connection. I knew this was the emotional healing modality I had been seeking to complement inner child healing sessions.

My Healing Philosophy

My Approach to Healing

I view myself not as your healer but as a facilitator empowering you to take charge of your life. I aim to equip you with tools to continue your healing journey beyond our sessions. While individual paths are unique, support is invaluable; we're not meant to navigate this alone.

My practice is grounded in core beliefs:

  • Purposeful Life Choices: We select families and experiences that foster our soul's growth and life missions.

  • Interconnectedness: At a fundamental level, we are all one. Loving others and ourselves is interconnected, and sometimes we need guidance in self-love.

  • Spiritual Support: We are deeply cherished by the loving universe we're part of, and this support manifests in our emotional healing sessions.

  • Active Healing: Time alone doesn't heal wounds; proactive love and self-compassion are essential for true healing.

Words from Clients

"Working with Rachel has been absolutely amazing! In each session, she quickly identified and released the deep emotional issues, old traumas, and negative energies stuck in my back that had been trying to get my attention for years.

In one particular session, I could barely sit up straight and to my amazement, right after our session, the pain had all but disappeared!

In only a few short weeks, she cleared trapped energies from old emotional traumas that I was holding in my back and I can say, after 6 months, I am still pain free!"

-Christina, San Francisco, California

  • What is emotional healing, and how can it improve my mental health?
Emotional healing is the process of releasing old pain that influences your current experiences through the lens of past wounds. By allowing yourself to feel emotions you may have been avoiding, you create space to let go of what no longer serves you. It creates a sense of safety to experience and express emotions in the moment, freeing you to connect authentically with safe and trusted loved ones. This practice lightens emotional baggage, enabling you to respond to life’s challenges with clarity and presence rather than reacting based on unresolved pain. Over time, emotional healing fosters a sense of emotional balance and resilience—your ability to stay centered amid life’s stresses and recover more quickly from emotional upsets. This process significantly improves your mental health and overall well-being, empowering you to approach life with greater ease and confidence.
  • How do trapped emotions affect the body and mind?
Trapped emotions can create a ripple effect, influencing your emotional state, physical sensations, and even long-term health. When certain emotions, like anger or sadness, remain trapped in the body, they can amplify how often you feel those emotions in daily life. These unresolved feelings act as a filter of the past, shaping how you perceive and react to present experiences. On a physical level, trapped emotions can cause discomfort such as heaviness, numbness, or strange sensations, and in some cases, they may contribute to chronic pain or even serious illnesses. Addressing trapped emotions helps remove these hidden burdens, allowing your body and mind to function more freely and naturally.
  • How do I release trapped emotions?
Trapped emotions can be released through a variety of emotional healing modalities and self-expressive techniques. Methods like the Emotion Code and Body Code work directly with the subconscious mind to identify and clear trapped emotions safely and effectively. Allowing yourself to fully feel emotions as they arise is a powerful way to release them, as the pain we feel in the present is often a combination of current circumstances and unresolved echoes of past experiences. Physical movement, such as shaking, dancing, or even vocal release, can help release emotional energy stored in the body. Journaling is another effective tool, giving you a space to process and express feelings that may be hard to verbalize. Connecting with the parts of yourself that are still holding onto pain and creating a safe, compassionate space for them to let out their feelings can also facilitate deep emotional healing and freedom.
  • What is the difference between the Emotion Code and The Body Code?
The Emotion Code and Body Code are both powerful emotional healing modalities created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, and both can address a wide range of issues. The Emotion Code focuses specifically on identifying and releasing trapped emotions using a single chart of emotions, making it highly effective for clearing a heart wall and other emotional blockages. The Body Code, while equally effective for these purposes, is more comprehensive. It allows the subconscious mind to identify and address a broader spectrum of imbalances, such as physical trauma, EMF energies, inflammation, and toxins. While the Emotion Code is an excellent tool for emotional and energetic healing, the Body Code provides a deeper and more expansive framework for uncovering and resolving underlying imbalances across multiple areas.
  • Is crying good for you, or does it make things worse?
Crying is generally very beneficial for emotional and physical well-being, as it provides a natural way to release heaviness and stress hormones. Letting out tears in real time, as emotions arise, can help clear old emotions and prevent them from being stored in the body. Crying often serves as a cathartic release, allowing you to feel lighter and more balanced afterward. It’s important to honor your body’s impulses—if you feel the urge to cry, it’s a signal from your system to let go of what you’re holding onto. However, if crying becomes part of replaying looped, survival-based stress thoughts, it can lead to prolonged periods of crying that may induce more negative thoughts and create a cycle of emotional overwhelm. In most cases, though, crying is a healthy and vital part of emotional healing when done mindfully and in response to the body’s natural cues.
  • How can I heal childhood trauma?
Healing childhood trauma begins with creating a nurturing and supportive relationship with your inner child—the part of you that is still holding onto the pain and self-limiting beliefs formed during those early experiences. Developing daily practices to support your nervous system is essential, as early abuse or neglect can wire the brain to be hypervigilant. Techniques such as belly breathing, body scan meditations, heart-brain coherence exercises, and adaptogenic herbs like rhodiola and ashwagandha can help calm and regulate your system. Another important step is allowing yourself to do things you weren’t permitted to do as a child—take up space, be messy, say no, ask for your needs and wants, and explore your individuality. Cultivating a rock-solid sense of self-love and self-esteem that remains steady regardless of external circumstances is key to breaking free from old patterns and building a life rooted in joy, authenticity, and emotional freedom.
  • How does childhood trauma show up in adults?
Childhood trauma often reveals itself in adulthood through survival-based patterns that no longer serve you. A pervasive sense of not feeling good enough or lacking in some way is a common theme, leading to behaviors like people-pleasing, difficulty saying no, and emotional outbursts. Childhood trauma may also show up as struggles with showing your true self to the world or feeling isolated because emotional intimacy feels too scary. Trust issues—either with others or yourself—are another hallmark of unresolved childhood wounds. Childhood trauma can also create hyper-independence, a fear of rejection or abandonment, or difficulties with setting and maintaining healthy boundaries. Additionally, perfectionism or recreating past patterns in relationships (such as seeking approval from emotionally unavailable partners) are often linked to childhood experiences. Childhood trauma can manifest in various ways, including sexual dysfunction, chronic anxiety or depression, addiction, and persistent aches, pains, or serious illnesses. By noticing these patterns, you can begin to connect them to their roots and take steps toward healing and freedom.
  • What is the inner child?
The inner child is a real part of your psyche that you can interact with, often frozen in time at the moment an unresolved wound occurred. This part of you may not realize the body has grown up and can still show up with behaviors or emotions from that age, whether it’s shyness, anger, or withdrawal. The inner child resides in the subconscious mind and holds the key to many limiting behaviors and beliefs formed during childhood. It may flood the body with big emotions and often comes out when you are triggered by something that feels similar to past pain. The inner child also has desires and wishes that can subtly influence your decisions, even in adulthood. Connecting with your inner child is a powerful way to cultivate deep self-love and self-esteem, as this part of you has been alone with their pain for a long time. By becoming the safe and loving adult your inner child needs, you can help them feel seen, supported, and finally free to heal.
  • What is inner child work?
Inner child work is the process of reconnecting with and healing your inner child by addressing their unmet needs and emotions. This can involve having conversations with your inner child—either silently or out loud—to provide them with love and reassurance. Activities like journaling, drawing, or writing with your non-dominant hand allow the inner child to express themselves in creative and meaningful ways. You might also reimagine better outcomes for past events, such as a parent apologizing and offering the love your inner child needed. Inner child work isn’t just about healing; it’s also about allowing your inner child to play—whether that means being silly, snuggling, or spending time outside. By taking time to listen to and nurture your inner child, you foster self-love, compassion, and a sense of wholeness.
  • What is self-love?
Self-love is the act of treating yourself with the same unconditional care, warmth, and compassion that you would offer to a dear loved one or cherished pet. It starts with accepting yourself fully—letting go of negative self-talk and harsh judgments to embrace kindness and understanding toward who you are. Self-love also means standing up for yourself, setting boundaries, and feeling confident in saying no to people or situations that don’t honor your needs. Sometimes, this involves releasing relationships that are no longer respectful or supportive of your well-being. At its core, self-love is about feeling the warmth of love in your chest—the same feeling you might have for someone you care deeply about—and turning that love inward. Through self-love, you cultivate a strong foundation of inner peace, resilience, and self-worth, allowing you to navigate life with greater authenticity and joy.
